In India, RE/MAX is led by Mr. Sam Chopra – A Services Guru with more than 25 years of experience in Consultancy, BPO and Real Estate, Sam is a national board member of National Association of Realtors, India. RE/MAX India, with its headquarters in Gurgaon - Haryana, plans to recruit and train real estate people at various levels of the business model to create an unprecedented network spanning the entire country. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sam with a career spanning more than 30 years of diverse experience and numerous successful entrepreneurial assignments under his belt, was an obvious choice to spearhead the RE/MAX network in India. Sam is the Vice President of Association of Property Professionals (APP) and a National Board member of the National Association of Realtors-India. Earlier this year he attained the prestigious membership of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). He also has an HSMI Certification through the National Real Estate Council. In 1996, when he saw opportunity in Business Process Outsourcing, he promoted CybizCall International Pvt Ltd. In appreciation of his outstanding contribution to the growth of ITES industry, he was asked to preside over the Business Process Industry Association of India where he remained president for 2 consecutive terms and stepped down in 2009 to focus upon his RE/MAX business. He has also been an associate member of NASSCOM in India. In appreciation of his commendable leadership of RE/MAX in India, Sam has been awarded as the "Most Promising Entrepreneurs of the Year 2009 by Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards; 6 months later, RE/MAX India was awarded "Start up of the Year" at Small Business Awards supported by Ernst & Young and Zee Business.Owing to his strong entrepreneurial skills and magnificent contribution to the Indian industrial growth, he received numerous memberships of councils and committees like Services Council, Association’s Council, Knowledge Mission and Subcommittee on India – EU Bilateral Trade and Investment Agreement (BITA) of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He has also been a former convener of Infrastructure Committee, Haryana State Council at CII. A commerce graduate from the premier Sri Ram College of Commerce of Delhi University, Sam shares a passion for Books, Sports & Travel. His time management skills have always ensured that he pursues his other passion which is spending time with his family.

A commerce graduate from the prestigious Lady Sri Ram College, Mrs. Saloni Chopra started her entrepreneurial journey along with her Chartered Accountant husband – Mr. Samir Chopra, when both started the distributorship of Modi Xerox in the year 1990. After successfully running the business for 5 years, the husband-wife duo went back to their core competency area i.e. Financial Services and ventured into a Direct Selling Agency of American Express Financial Products. In the same year, they became one of the pioneers of the BPO Revolution in India by laying the foundation of CybizCall International in Udyog Vihar, which was one of the first BPOs in Delhi NCR Region. After more than a decade of achieving success in her BPO Business and having contributed significantly towards the growth and welfare of BPO industry through her association with BPAI, in the year 2007 Mrs. Saloni Chopra and Mr. Samir Chopra took the strategic decision to modify their business model & operational strategy by converting CybizCall into a BPO incubation center, helping companies take advantage of CybizCall's services, infrastructure and advisory. In 2009, Saloni along with Sam took the most remarkable and the most courageous decision of their entrepreneurial journey by bringing RE/MAX - the world leader in Real Estate franchising, to India. It was the time when most people were exiting the Real Estate Markets and business had reached its nadir. In these extreme global economic conditions Saloni was the only person to support Sam's decision, eventually proving everybody wrong when in a span of just about 8 months RE/MAX became India's fastest growing real estate franchise by establishing its presence in 11 states of the country with 50 regional and franchise offices.
